One thing that God has revealed to me through this adoption is the support of a special group of family and friends He has provided for us. Our family has been our foothold from the beginning. They have been so supportive and a shoulder to cry on when things weren't going the way we thought they should. They were excited when we were excited and frustrated when we were frustrated. They have been there every step of the way. We are so blessed to have a family that will share our joys and frustrations with us! (No matter how big this rollercoaster of emotions is!)
God has also orchestrated a handful of really special friends in our lives. Some we knew very well and others not so well. Each one of them has come into our lives in a different way. Each one connected to this little boy many miles away. Each one providing something special in our lives. One night at our Bible study we were talking about blessings we are thankful for and ours was for family and friends that have really taken hold of us and had such a vested interest in our growing family. We have been incredibly blessed by people who remember and call on the days when they know there were important meetings or dates.
You don't know how much it means to us to hear people saying they are praying for Caleb's paperwork and this whole process. Surely, as we bombard the Throne of Heaven, God will answer these prayers. Also, we are blessed by the constant prayer from our Life Group and a special prayer Pastor Todd prayed for over Caleb one Sunday night. You have all held us up on this rollercoaster to get our boy home.
It's so amazing to see how God brings so many people together for the sake of adding this little boy to our family. We love you and are so thankful for all of you!!!!!
