Carrots from the garden. You've never seen someone so ecstatic over picking carrots out of a garden before!
So many changes but haven't had time to update. This summer has flown by! We've been busy riding bikes, riding horses, swimming and playing outside. I can't believe how much Caleb has changed in 6 mos. It's truly amazing. Kelsey and Caleb love to play together and seem lost without each other! He is starting Kindergarten next week and Kelsey is starting 1st grade. They've had a blast this summer. So many firsts, for Caleb...Swimming lessons~now swimming on his own, the fair, four wheelers, completely speaking in english. I haven't heard a Creole word in months. Sad to lose his language but too hard to keep it up at this point since our language was limited. He can't wait to go to school. VBS was a tease since it was only a week. Kelsey has played a huge role in his adjustment. He wants to do everything she does, I mean EVERYTHING. They both got new fish and he thought they were going to eat them. He pouted about that for a few minutes when he found out they weren't going to be dinner! Now he likes his fish named Spiderman as a pet not a snack! He loves dogs once he knows they are friendly. He is very tenderhearted underneath that clowning around, goofy exterior. We praise God that this adjustment has gone so well.
