We decided to host a benefit as a way to help defray costs of the adoption and airline tickets. With the help of many family and friends and generous donations we were able to hold an auction and bake sale at church. It was so much fun to see Landon rattling away as the bids got higher and higher on even the angel food cakes that went for $80! It was an incredible turnout with enthuastic bidders! We couldn't have pulled this off without our family and friends. God provided us with more than we ever expected in donations. I couldn't believe how generous everyone was. I think I was in shock. It's truly amazing how God is working through all these different people for one little boy that we've never met!
